About this symposium

The doctoral symposium welcomes submissions from doctoral candidates working in the field of Business Information Systems.

The doctoral symposium allows doctoral students to discuss and obtain feedback on their preliminary research work from experienced researchers.

In addition, the doctoral symposium will offer keynotes provided by experts in supervising PhD students and examining doctoral theses to guide students to successfully complete their doctoral journey.

N.B. The ICBIB Doctoral Symposium is held in conjunction with the 2019 International Conference on Big Data in Business (ICBIB) www.icbib.org being held on Oct 29th and 30th, 2019 at a separate location.

What you will gain from the ICBIB Doctoral Symposium:

  • An opportunity to present your PhD research work (at any stage) and obtain feedback from key experts in the field
  • An opportunity to gain an insight on the successful doctoral research from the students, supervisors and examiners’ perspectives
  • Exposure to other doctoral students’ research and learning from their experience

The Grid Media is proud to bring together the ICBIB Doctoral Symposium for doctoral students and researchers.
