About this symposium

The Modern Business & Technology Doctoral Symposium welcomes submissions from doctoral candidates researching all disciplines under business and management.

The symposium allows doctoral students to discuss and obtain feedback on their preliminary research work from experienced researchers.

In addition, the doctoral symposium will offer keynotes provided by experts in supervising PhD students and examining doctoral theses to guide students to successfully complete their doctoral journey.

What you will gain from the Modern Business & Technology Doctoral Symposium:

  • An opportunity to present your PhD research work (at any stage) and obtain feedback from key experts in the field
  • An opportunity to gain an insight on the successful doctoral research from the students, supervisors and examiners’ perspectives

This symposium is best suited to doctoral students and researchers.

The Grid Media Ltd reserves the right to refuse registration if it deems that the prospective delegate represents a conflict of interest or is not relevant to the purpose of the symposium.

Similarly, The Grid Media Ltd will only issue invitation letters to prospective delegates from outside the United Kingdom once it has verified the name, title and organisation to which the delegate belongs.

Call for abstracts

Doctoral students to submit a 500-600 word abstract through click here.

The extended abstract should summarise the research problem, aims, methods, contributions and relevancy of the research topic.

Refund Policy

If the delegate needs to cancel registration (we understand this may be necessary), we request an email as soon as possible:

  • If we receive the email on or before May 30th, 2020, we will reimburse in full  minus a 20% handling charge of the amount paid
  • If we receive the email on or after June 1st, 2020, there will be no refund

If for any reason, The Grid Media Ltd needs to cancel the symposium, all delegates will be refunded in full within 10 working days.
